this is not related to your question but is about the fact that you mention that u have changed your engine.
i've actually done the same for my dad's car which was an E28 518i coz of a blown head. Coincidentally he imported it from the UK about 8 years back.

what caused u to change your engine?? i'm starting to get the impression that 518i's don't seem to be that good, with the body weight to engine capacity ratio.

What oil should I use for an engine of 23000km( Blown head gasket at 90000km and I rebuilt the engine completely)

Synthetic or normal oil
Please give me some brand name for the oil.

My car is a 518i E34 M40 Engine Yr1990(European model)
