Some of the cheaper stuff include a K & N air header, maybe a new exhaust... If your car has higher mileage, replacing the shocks with Bilstein may be a good idea too.. Gives you a firmer ride.. On your next tune up, replacing the fluids with Red line fluids can help your car run smoother... Also, you can upgrade the brakes... Power disk front rotors along with Metal master pads can give you better braking performance..

None of these upgrades are necessary though or that noticeable unless you drive your car very hard, or plan on attending auto crosses...


Outside of getting a JimC chip(planned), and getting some nice clear lights (planned), what other types of upgrades are available that someone might do to either add some added looks or increase performance for a reasonable cost?

(I'd *LOVE* to get some snazzy wheels and tires, but I don't have $3k to drop at the moment..Maybe next spring.)
