Very, very cool. How did your wife even know about a Jim C chip? You probably talked about it non stop until she couldn't stand it anymore. I talked about wheels for months until my wife finally said "would you just shut up and buy the damn things!".

My wife did get me a set of Rhino Ramps (highly recommended) and an E34 Bentley Manual for my birthday.

She's now scheming to get a Jaguar. Used, of course. I tried talking her into a 740i, but it's all about style with her. Now I'm trying to talk her into a Jag XJR - supercharged 4.0 liter straight six, 17 wheels, etc. She had her heart set on a Vanden Plas, but I convinced her that it was too long (5" longer wheelbase than an XJ6).

I recently purchased the car and made a list of the upgrades and the order I wanted them in. I may have even spoken about the chip, ocassionally ;).My list came from reading this board. Beautiful car...good luck with the Jag.
