wow, I'm using Apex as well, and so far I have not heard of the kinds of things you mentioned happened to anyone. I don't believe that the springs can cause the suspension to collapse. Apex have progressive compression and so, the ride should be close to stock until you drive harder.

That's gonna hurt. apex springs suck. you'll feel it in the long run when you have to replace your lower and upper control arms and the control arms in the back plus the shocks. i sure hope your suspension doesn't collapse on you. it happened to a friend of mine, he put in apex springs and while he was riding on the freeway, his car just slammed to the ground. happened with only 20K miles on them. cost about 8 g's to fix. i don't know, try oiling them with mobil 1. that might help. good luck.
