These cars are very sensitive to any vacuum or pressure leaks, a loose oil dipstick will cause rough running, these dip sticks have o-rings and most seal for proper tuning.

Why the dipstick note?


Sounds like a vacuum leak, that could cause both the noise and low RPM. Check hose betweem flow meter and intake, also reseat dip stick and oil filler cap.
