HELP! brake fluid-contaminated steering (archive)

Going to top off PS fluid in my 540i this am, I sleepily grabbed DOT 4 brake fluid. I realized my mistake after 1 teaspoon, but what a bad mistake! ASPCB will take my car away from me to a good home...
Anyway, can I (or my mechanic) flush the PS system? It's the M5 Servotronic, if that makes any difference... I know brake fluid eats paint - does it eat hoses or seals? Should I not drive? I haven't turned the car on since...

any advice?
