Brake fluid disposal, Houston TX- WHERE? (archive)

So after bleeding brakes, what do I do with the old fluid? The Texas Natural Resources Conservation Commission (TNRCC) has a web site that claims there's no approved drop-off site within 150 miles of my zip code. Am I to assume that we all have several liters of dead brake fluid sitting along the gallons of old lead paint in the garage that we can't get rid of either?
