:I just got back in town and scrolled down the board to see your ? about the trans chip. You will definately feel the Jim C chip even in the slushbox. Trans chips won't do any real measureable amount of performance, as others on the board mentioned. To feel the Jim C chip work, use the sport mode on your selector switch or even the manual mode, but be careful, as the new redline limiter will go past the workings of our automatic transmissions and you will see a "TRANS PROGRAM" message on the read out and it will go into limp home mode, ask me how I know =^O. Nothing to fear, as soon as you turn off the ignition everything returns to normal. Just don't try the red line limiter, trust me. Shifting at 6000rpm is plenty. I personally don't like to take mine that far.
The Jim C chip will require premium fuel, I just got back from an 800 mile trip with mine and was getting 24mpg on the highway with a/c on and doing 80-85 mph. I could also tell a little smoother idle.
Sorry I missed your original post, I'm glad ron and Tim and callen were able to help you too. But I was busy burning up the highways, btw I was able to get into the twisties down in Arkansas. Wow did I have fun. =0)
