Lets see...here's some answers:

1 & 2 : Probably the same problem - worn out shocks. Get Boge Turbo Gas shocks as a replacement for the Boge Hydraulic OEM shocks. It's a small improvement over stock, and a big improvement over shocks with 90k miles on them. Consider getting new springs as well - I got Dinan springs that mildly lower the car. I'm generally happy with the Dinan/Boge/16" BBS RK setup I have. The car is transformed from stock...with the expected tradeoff in ride. When they do the shock install for you get an alignment that may be the cause of your "drifting".

3: Possible tune-up needed??

4: The cross spoke wheels only came on the 525 with what I believe was called the premium package. I don't think the package was available until 94, so they were probably added later or the previous owner made a swap with the dealer he bought the car at. Used wheels are around, check the Roundel, ebay etc.

5: I generally used Bavarian Auto (bavauto.com) for replacement parts...good prices and service.

Enjoy!

Thanks for the advise on what to look for.
The car has 90k, iceland green with parchment leather, heated seats, LSD and added wood trim (found bill for $800+ from dealer for this). I got all sevice records, books and even the original window sticker and sales brochures.
The car is in overall good condition has had some paint work but, I see no signs of bondo work or panel replacement.
I drove the car over 100 miles on the way home and noticed a few problems or just diffrences in feel and handling as compared to my e39.
1.The steering and feel of the car is tight but when a go over a bump/dip there seems to be a bit of a "drifting" feeling in steering. What could be causing this?
2.The cornering is nowere close to my 97 what can I do improve handling?
3.Has a rough idle at times and is much less noticeable with A/C on any ideas?
4.Car has BBS crossweave wheels. Were these standard or an option. window stcker does not show optinal wheels. just refers to standard "light alloy" Could they have been added later? I need one, has curb rash.
5.Has cracked Lt fog lamp and "fogged" Rt fog lamp. Were can I get them cheap? can "fogged" lamp be cleaned?

Thanks Again!
Dan
