Where in Texas do you live....I take my 93 525i from Denton to work in Dallas (100 miles each day)...it is a very reliable car.

Do you know a good bimmer shop in the area? The dealers are way too expensive...

Thanks.

Ahh, you've discovered the attitude problem that is the Dallas's BMW dealers (especially Classic) approach to older (read: out of warrenty) cars.

BMS, a BMW only independant shop, which I have been using for the last 12 years is in far NE Ft. Worth (Haltom City actually), on Hwy 377, just north of Loop 820. If I recall right, it's a straight shot down Hwy 377 from Denton to there. :) The # is 817-498-3477

The question of a good mechanic in the DFW area comes up here from time to time; if you can check the archives here for "Dallas" or "DFW", you should find other shops people have recommended.
