Has your E34 had the BMW phone in it before and removed? If it has, you need to add a jumper wire in the console.

BMW dealer has determined that my computer info switch on signal stalk is fine... indicating the wires are disconnected between the signal stalk and the computer next to the radio. The question is... where is that wire... what color... how many wires?
