Wayne is a good mechanic and a pretty decent guy too. I saw your black debadged E34 while I was there. It seemed to be E34 day, with yours and two white 525i.

I have a little wind noise...curious what they did. Do you know or can you get the details?

Alas. I don't know exactly what they did. I replaced the driver's door seal (2 of the 3 parts I think) last year when I bought the car. Wayne, the mechanic who did it, complained about the previous seal saying somebody didn't know how to install it right. He's one of those guys who can think outside the box when it comes to repairs despite having worked at a dealership for several years, so I take that there is some degree of artisrty involved.

He did something this time, and all I know is that sucking air sound to the left of my ear is long gone. Sorry, I didn't pay any closer attnetion :(

However, there is a problem with wind noise from the mirrors that doesn't appear until about 85-88 mph. Of course, I don't get to spend much time there in daily commute. ;-)
