Any way you might ask him? I think there are quite a few of us with that wind noise in the door seal. I've seen this posted on the board several times and no one seems to have an answer.

Tell your mechanic that we will all hold him in awe if he can share the magic trick!

Alas. I don't know exactly what they did. I replaced the driver's door seal (2 of the 3 parts I think) last year when I bought the car. Wayne, the mechanic who did it, complained about the previous seal saying somebody didn't know how to install it right. He's one of those guys who can think outside the box when it comes to repairs despite having worked at a dealership for several years, so I take that there is some degree of artisrty involved.

He did something this time, and all I know is that sucking air sound to the left of my ear is long gone. Sorry, I didn't pay any closer attnetion :(

However, there is a problem with wind noise from the mirrors that doesn't appear until about 85-88 mph. Of course, I don't get to spend much time there in daily commute. ;-)
