I agree with the obvious protection a bra provides, yet I must make one comment. If you're not diligent is removing the bra regularly to wash it, the dust, dirt and gravel that sits between the bra and your clearcoat will act like sandpaper. Our family owned a 95 Cavalier with a full bra. We took it off every other month to clean under it, but the clear coat still ended up cloudy and badly scratched in places.

Also, watch out for metal hooks on the bra, they rust and scratch as well.

With all due respect to the mother country, the Colonies have a great deal of desert in the western part of the country. Not pretty and green like the UK, but sandy rocky and harsh. It is roughly a three day drive to cross the the western desert of the US. If there is any wind, which there usually is you are almost guaranteed of having the front of the car pitted by sand when you dirve 8 to 12 hours at 80 or so, per day through that type of country.

I took a trip out there last winter and the damage to the car came to over US $2400 from the windscreen to hood mirrors fenders etc. A "stupid" bra with mirror covers is less than US $300.

So, even though it looks a little goofy, it pays
for itself in saving the car.

Also FYI most us of drive significantly more miles per year than do people in your part of the world, so the exposure is far greater.
