Tim I just recently changed my wires on a 91. I understand that BMW wires are solid core meaning there is little resistance. I can't see aftermarket wires performing better than stock. I purchased my wires from BMW dealer. After my BMWCCA discount cost about $180 dollars and they fit correctly. charles 91 535i 5sd.
