Door panel help needed (archive)

1991 520iA

Decided it was time to look into why one of my rear windows is struggling to close. The motor is labouring and the window moves slow. Unfortunately, without a manual, I found I couldn't get the interior door panel off!

The only screws I found were one behind the door handle, one behind the cigarette tray and one on the door pull handle. Looks like maybe the small panel above the main one has to come off first and to do this the trim around the window frame has to be removed.

I don't want to break anything so would like some help from someone who has experience.
