Hi,

The fan is attached by a threaded fitting. Look behind the blades and you will see a hex-shaped nut.

This has a reverse (left-handed) thread. You will need a 32mm bicycle wrench, available at most bike shops. Slip it into place and give the end of the wrench a sharp whack with the heel of your palm. Remember, left-hand thread.

This will remove the fan plus viscous coupling. Once off the car you will be able to detach the fan from the coupling.
