I have a very similar model, a 520i SE, 1995, which i bought 2 months ago woth 103000 miles. It was an ex company car, not especially well looked after inside, but serviced by BMW reglarly, and in good shape, and drove well.

Best purchase I have ever made car-wise !!

note - 520i is not the fastest in a straight line, but there are very few cars, even many 'hot-hatches' that can keep up with it through the bends, or indeed over 60mph !!

I am thinking of buying a 93 520se with 100k miles, the car has a full BMW service history, am i likely to have any problems with the engine at this mileage?
