i cant find the postings on how to remove it, its in the glovebox right? can someone tell me how to get to it and take it off. and is there one on a 92 525 because i dont want to be there for hours nd find out there isnt one. ok thanks
Saw some postings here about air flow restrictions due to a clogged microfilter and knew that had to be my problem too. Went to the archive to get all the poop, had the thing out in about an hour and Woah Baby, the fan motor can push air after all! This was all done in a '95 540 E34 with 65k miles. Have to believe the thing has never been changed in its life (I bought the car used a year ago) since it was completely clogged. Looking at all the crud it captured, I believe you have to replace the thing - hate to see the cooling fins get clogged with that mess. Amen, I'm a believer, especially here in 111'F Texas!
