I dont regret, i am happy with improvement.
The only thing i think i did wrong is that i let it suck the whole can without any pause. I think i should have let it run longer with first dose of cleaner and then continue releasing the hose. This way cat would not be overloaded much. As to loosing the oil lubrication on dieseling(if it happens on your engine) i think if the engine is spinning then the oil is being felivered to piston and cylinder. Try to clean adding to gas tank first once or even two times to be safer.

I have 180k almost and I want to clean out the carbon in my engine. There was a nice discussion on the pros and cons of this procedure a little while ago. Now SERIUOSLY can this damage your engine, cat, 02 sensor, or anything else? Let's discuss this as technically as possible and without any flames. Any techs out there willing to submit their opinions? Anyone that has done this procedure please submit. TIA b '91 525 180k
