One other goofy thing I noticed about my 95 530i -- if/when I floor the accelerator at about 30 mph, the engine revs to about 5000 RPMs before shifting up. A friend thought it might be a slipping transmission. However, this doesn't happen at any other speeds/in any other gear. If I floor it from a dead stop, it's fine. If I floor it at 35 or higher, it's fine. Any suggestions?
