Hi everybody,
yesterday evening, I got the coolant low message on my 90/525ia and on opening the cap, found the coolant to be indeed low. I filled it up and today morning, after having driven the car for approx. 50 miles, again got the same message. Opened the hood and found a lot of coolant around the accelerator housing. I again topped the coolant. When I reached home, the annoying message popped up again. Since the engine was warm enough, I first topped the coolant and decided to start the engine.
Immediately, i saw a very fine stream(jet) of coolant coming out from the place where the small metal plate (which has mounting for accelerator wire) that connects the air hose on one side (by a clamp) and those three big metal pipes on the other side. Pl. excuse me if i have not been able to describe it correctly. I opened the radiator cap to ease the pressure and the jet of coolant coming out subsided. I got the WP and thermostat replace a few months ago.
How do I handle this leakage? Did anyone of you ever experience something like this? Is it a problem with the hoses? Do any of you guys know any independent shop/mechanic in Trumball/Stamford, CT or i have to take it to the dealer.

TIA for any inputs
Bob
