I have a 95 540i. somtimes the car is not getting enough fuel when driving fast. I decided to replace the fuel pump.
(dealers advice). I pulled the fuel pump relay, disconected the battery. when I took off the cover to the fuel pump I saw a bunch of bolts. I was afarid that when I un screwed these that fuel would com pouring out, doing this in my underground parking got me a little scared.
How and what hoses do you have to clamp off.
Is it a dangerous job?
I really dont want to blow up my condo complex.

Thanks

James
