I've got 17x8.5 Magics on my 540i. Some others have complained that they are too heavy. I'm not sure why they think that - the Breytons weigh about the same as E39 540i Sport Package wheels (25/26 pounds each). Some forged wheels will be lighter (and way more $$$). And a few other cast wheels (BBS RK, for example) will be a few pounds lighter.

I think they look great. They're a lot easier to clean than the OEM basketweaves and even in the 8.5" width they have a pretty wide polished lip.
