$AUD75,000 for 95 540i/6 ??? (archive)

I always enjoy the commentary about pricing for E34's as, although North American-centric (as most posts), because how damn cheap they are compared to down under.

BMW Aus sold only 70 M540i/6 in Australia at the end of the E34 run as a surrogate M5. From what I can gather the spec was more like the US version than the Canadian one. Car in question is through BM dealer, 56k (km), all the normal tricks. But asking $AUD75,000? Will probably get at least $60-$65. Even allowing for the state of the $AUD (aka pacific peso of late) of about $USD54c, do the math.... Just as general info, 540iA's go for about $40-$50, good 535i's around $30k.

But we do put on good Olympics!!!!
