Won't tell you how to cheat to take it loose. Let me just say it involves a 3/4 rachet, 3 foot pipe over the rachet, Car on the ground and a starter motor. Can't help you on the retorque.


Hi! Anybody with experience removing timing case from M30? The shop manual sez the front nut is supposed to be over 200 #/ft. Any thoughts re: bracing engine from turning? How about re-torque?
