hazard lights (archive)

Everytime we start the car or turn the car off the flashers (hazard lights) engage. After a minute or so, they go off. This all started when I had a keyless entry installed on my 89 535i. I have looked in the archives but can't find anything specific to help troubleshoot.

Any ideas. Thanks for the help in advance.
