I just came back from S'pore on saturday to get some parts, absorbers, fan coupling etc etc.
i asked about the superchip. it's still available at racetech. $550 if u install it yourself and $600 if the guy installs it 4 you. The guy (Ricky or roland??) says it's not too hard to install.
He claims (and also the website claims) to give the bimmer an extra 13hp boost in power.

I didnt want to go for it as i still have this increase in temp problem after i turn off the engine, hopefully the fan coupling, and the new fann cover should remediate this. Also, i have found a new means of having extra power- Get rid of the 17 inchers. I feel that my car has increased in the startring acceleration. Will give a report once i calculate the fuel consumption.
