My car has had this bussing or hissing near the passanger side rear for over 2 years, yet I have not had any problems. I have been told that this is normal for a Bosch fuel pump. I have had several people tell that I'm getting a flat tire.

coming from my fuel pump........1990 525i......noticed it AFTER I changed out my fuel filter and was looking for leaks. Might also be described as a buzzing noise. ???????????
