Bon Ami has worked well for me. Just make sure you get the right kind.

I have what appear to be rain spots on my windows. Most likely it is a calcium deposit. I bought the car (90 525i) two months ago and have not been able to remove them. Other than this the car looks great. I have tried:
(1) Rain-X glass polish
(2) A semi-pro detail shop (got some off but not totally)
(3) Steel wool and windex
What do you all think? Its glass, is should come clean with the right stuff.
Bon Ami? Other chemicals? Griots Glass Polish?

Help is MUCH appreciated.
