Hey Joe,
I've heard on this board a couple years ago about somebody replacing the windshield for around $300, because BMW wanted $700. I believe the glass was a little different and the window place didn't replace the rain diverters that runs down the sides of the windows. In short, find out what exactly the window replacement company plans to do during installation. You might even find out that your insurance company will pay for a new one if the old one is that bad. Now don't go throwin' rocks at it! =)

Howdy,

The windshield on my car is ugly. I would describe it as being 'hazed'. Lots of little tiny nicks in it. If the sun hits it it's like having a sheet thrown over the car, I can't see out. I'm wondering if I can do something to help clear this up, or do I need to buy a new windshield?

Thanks,
Joe Ording
