Howdy,

The windshield on my car is ugly. I would describe it as being 'hazed'. Lots of little tiny nicks in it. If the sun hits it it's like having a sheet thrown over the car, I can't see out. I'm wondering if I can do something to help clear this up, or do I need to buy a new windshield?

Thanks,
Joe Ording

When I bought my 89 about a year ago after it had been detailed by a dealer, the winshield seemed perfect. After about 4 months, the pitting began showing up and now it is as bad as yours. I believe the windshield was either with something or cleaned extremely well with high pressure water. I've thought about applying a clear coat floor polish like "Future." I don't even know if Johnson Wax still makes it, but it might be worth a try.
