-good questions.

Don't you need to change engine mapping (chip) and put bigger injectors???

-Yes. The engine will need more fuel under boost and I am going to go with a rising rote fuel pressure regulator and see if TMS can burn me a custom chip. Oh, and add a split second box to adjust fuel/air ratio to further tune the works. The stock infectors will do the job (for now anyway).

When drilling your engine block, aren't you going to have some little pieces of metal going inside the block? Are you going to be able to remove every little pieces?

-Yes again, I will have some shavings, but I have a plan. My mech and Corky Bell gave me some hints on how to keep most of the trash out of the crankcase. They recommend to first grease the drill bit to catch most of the shavings then charge the engine with about 5 psi of air so when the bit breaks through the air blows what the grease did not get. Next, do the same thing with the tap, then put a fitting on. Drain the oil, then rinse what you can from the fitting out the drain hole. Anything that is left will be ok. It should not be able to get past the oil pump screen and definately will not get past the filter. Besides, there were probably more filings from the factory that came out of the drain plug the first time the oil was changed in the engine. I am not worried in the least bit about the shavings. Its just drilling in the right spot thet concerns me...

I definitively with you good luck... and keep my 535i stock.

- 400+ hp does not make your ears prick up even a little? :D (Not sure on exact numbers yet for HP BTW...) Hope this answers your ?'s
