My commute is a mix of highway and suburban streets. I do not drive that aggressively during my commute. To do so would be financial suicide as the roads are heavily patrolled in the Dulles corridor.

I reset my OBC's MPG1 with every tank of gas and reset MPG2 with every oil change. I usually get between 17 and 18 MPG per MPG1 reset. My MPG2 flucuates between 18.7 and 19 depending on how many highway miles I drive.

The lowest I've ever seen is 14.6. This was driving an entire tank with the tranny is S4 and basically driving like an a**hole the entire time.

I'm actually pretty happy with the mileage I get considering how much fun this car is to drive.
