It could just be blowing out whenever the pressure exceeds the limit. I think this happens a lot with the lower pressure cap.


my 91 535i had a check coolant level message come on in the message display. I check the level , it was down about 12 ounces. I could not see any leeks anywhere. Any ideas what this could be. the car has 112,000 miles on it. The car has never overheated, so I don't think there is any engine damage. Have check oil. Did not see any water on dipstick. Any info is appreciated.
