I am using H&R with Boge replacement struts. I replaced the front bump stops with Monroe bumpstops - they have a soft accordian type weather boot. I cut the bumpstop in half and shortened the boot. With the stock 15s, the ride is firm, but not harsh. When I went up to 18s, the ride is definitely harsher, but still livable.

Well I thought I had figured out which springs and struts to buy based on what I had read in this forum. Eibach springs and Boge shocks. That was until I phoned Bavauto to order them and they said that if I used normal hight shocks with lowed springs I would run into problems. They said that I should really get their springs and Bilstiens sport shocks if I wanted to lower my car and not have to harsh a ride. Is anybody else using this combo ? Is it too harsh ?
