Remove the offending cable, left or right at the motor drive at the bottom/center/front of the seat. To do this, raise the seat and remove/loosen a couple of hex head screws to drop the motor. And the cable(s) slides out of the motor. Carefully uncrimp the cable housing end cap (you will reuse this piece) and shorten the end of the cable housing a few millimeters so that the end of the cable protrudes further into the motor. Reinstall the end cap and carefully crimp. Might as well do the other side since things are apart. . .30 minutes max for both sides.
