You should have a little crank handle in the tool kit that you can use to manually close the roof.
The roof motors can get out of synchronisation and stop short of fully closing or opening.
I had my mechanic fiddle with mine and it is fine now.

OK, this is weird, but my sunroof no longer knows the difference between the three positions on the sunroof switch, i.e. it stops short of full closure, doesn't pop up when you press up into the switch. I replaced the switch, but the Mechanic saws it is probably something with a plastic gear on the motor itself. Does anyone have this problem or know what to replace exactly? The only way I could get the sunroof to close was to remove the motor, then push the sunroof closed, then replace the motor, and that is very annoying.
Thanks,
Derek
