Wheels are copied from site which is same in design as mine except pics are 18".
Just purchased myself the e39 m5 17 inch wheel replicas.(didn't know wheels designed for the e39
until much later) When the dealer finished installing the wheels,and I had a run down the highway,the
whole car shook terribly when I reached about 60 mph and straight away the thought of the thrust
arm bushing came in mind.So I drove back straight to the dealer,put it on ramps with wheels hanging
and saw that the wheel was actually turning lop sided ie. the wheel is not center to the hub.The
dealer was lost as to what was happening and I suggested the hubcentric rings but there was none at
his garage.So here comes the duct tape to the rescue (it actually works)while waiting for some
feedback from the dealer.Lesser vibration with the duct tape but not totally eliminated.
Got home and got mysely a roll of aluminium tape and taped up 7 layers around the hub center and
vibration totally eliminated.Sent e-mail to Robert Kane( http://www.shragon.net) and confirmed the
wheels have larger diameter hub center.Called dealer and will pick it up this Thursday.
