I guess you Ga Tech guys are smart after all. I mean, you did manage to pick a girl from UGA for your GF, so you can't be all bad. In all seriousness though, this can be a long process. It took a year for me to track down my first 535i, and it came from Greenville, SC. If you don't mind driving an automatic, it will be a lot easier to find what you want, but I think we all know that you'll go for a real car. I hope that things go quicker for you than they did for me. Best of luck.
