Circumventing "Low Beam" error (archive)

Hi. My LCM died and due to the need to drive immediately, I cut the wires at the bulbs themselves and hooked the bulbs together, then ran the wire to a relay that fired when the switch was on. Basically, I have daytime running lights now. It works well, and actually I like having DRLs so I figured I'd just keep it as is. Problem with that is, the computer figures I lost both low beam bulbs and I cannot get rid of the "LOW BEAM" error. How can I trick the computer into thinking the bulbs are there? If I can't, I guess I'll just have to get a new LCM but I kinda like the way it works now. Any ideas?

Thanks.
