To eliminate the low beam warning message from an E-39 with a xenon retrofit kit you simply add a 1 - ohm, 10 - watt "sandbox" style resistor between the two wires on each side to fool the computer into thinking the bulb is there. The are available at Radio Shack under a dollar for a pair. I'm sure the same would work on your E34
