I have a terrible problem tat sounds like a head gasket issue. Driving the other day, my car blue a coolant hose from the water pump to the engine (a tube about 8 inches long). When it was repaired, the tech went to check the coolant and found engine oil in the expansion coolant chamber. The car had been running fine, but now they think the head gasket needs fixed (about $1300). Could this be caused by something else. Any recommendations. The car is a 535 ia 1992 with 130k miles. Purchased with 116k, and ran great across the USA. Help with any advice and if you are from the Boston area, any recommendations for repair techs.

My car has a little oil in the coolant, not much at all, I have'nt done anything about it and have had no problems, and it has been two years and 35k, Like one of the guys said, don't let anyone pull your head, if you do then you'll have real problems, I have heard horror stories, milling the head 5 and 6 times and so on. Let it be, unless your car starts running really bad!!!
