2k is normal according to Bentley. I think the 1k doesn't take into consideration each end connector which also has resistance.


I measured the coil wire resistance and it apperas to be 2k Ohm instead of 1k as noted on the wire itself.
How can this affect the ignition and should I replace the whole set?
