Oleg, the cable has 0k resistance. The distributor angled end has 1k resistance, I don't know if the coil end has a supressor in in it or not. If so i imagine it would be 1k also. The allowable variation is plus or minus 20%. So I wouldn't worry about 2k resistance on the coil wires, especially since the spark plug wires have 6k resistance. Rule of thumb for most autos is 2k per foot of cable.Thats on the graphite suppresion core also, not the solid wire like bmw uses.
