There is a fault stored by the EML computer. It controls the throttle plate in an ASC equipped car.

Check the electrical connections at the servo-drive thingy. Otherwise, the dealer should be able to extract the fault code from the computer.

535i M30 engine, automatic.
Car has been sitting while being stripped, repainted and refurbed.
I have removed the flashers, side markers, brake/tail, etc. Car has been started weekly. Computer would display normal lamp error messages.
Today I started it and an orange ELM illuminated on the dash between the battery and the oil lamp indicators.
I have searched all my BMW factory service manuals, owners manual, Bentley and can find no mention of this indicator and what it means.
Any information or assistance is greatly appreciated.
