since i bought my 92 bmw535i with 90K i always had this problem that the car stumbles intermettently or misfires(i think) !! when traveling between 40-50mph.
Does anyone experince the same, is there a service bulletin for this problem?

RPM range does your stumble happen. It could be many things but my 88 M30 engine did the same until I adjusted the airflow meter to run just a tad richer. The M30 engine is relased from the factory just on the edge of being too lean and then over the years it does begin to run too lean.

Anyway, please describe under what driving conditions your problem happens, i.e rpm, hard acceleration or not, etc.
