So does mine. About a needle width past the half-way marker. Summer and winter. Loses no coolant. Check the radiator with the engine warmed up and SWITCHED OFF. Is the radiator evenly warm / hot all across or is there a cold patch? If the latter, you may have a choked radiator. You don't say how old the car is. If everything else is perfectly normal then not a problem in my opinion - the hand book says 'between the high and low marks' is acceptable. Better this than cool and have poor heater efficiency!
