By the looks of these posts, the EML deals mostly with the electronic throttle.?.? Do you know how to determine if the first servo is cooked.

Thanks,
Jamie

I've been told that the throttle has two motors- in case one fails the backup takes over. The failure of the first may cause a fault.

Had the EML light come on. Tried to download fault codes, but there seems to be none- only short blink and pause, continually.
Is the car at risk of damage if driven until I can figure out the problem?
Does anyone have similar expirience?

Thanks.
