I have yokohama AVS db, like them, but haven't done snow yet. They have higher rating then Energy, for less money. Size 225 60-15 V rating.
I've had good luck with Yokohama, in the past on other BMWs.

Due for a new set of 15s soon. Currently I have Michelin Energy MXV4 Plus. I find them to be ery agreeable with low noise, decent handling and so forth. I'd love to get Pirelli P7000 Supersport All seasons but they come only in 16 and i just dont have the cash for some new rims (although a set of Borbet Cs would be great!). Any one have any suggestions? The Energys seem to be one of the more expensive tires out there (for its class - Touring). Anyone have a real positive experience? My car is a year round daily driver so wet performance and a rare snowy drive are to be considered. THANKS!
